KNIFE MAKING CLASSES
Knives are humanity’s oldest tool, older even than our management of fire and the hardest working knives in the world are Kitchen Knives.
Cooking is one of life’s great joys, and knives are often our primary interaction between ourselves and our food. The tools we use when cooking shape our engagement with our food and through that the people we cook for.
Kitchen knives are the most used knives in the world. Most people have at least one or more knife in their kitchen, with the average Australian household having five kitchen knives. This includes those who don't consider themselves knife enthusiasts or cooking enthusiasts. We may all differ with how many, what brand and in what shape those knives are, but the fact is that we all have them.
Making your own knives is an incredible journey into enhancing your cooking experience.
You will learn to appreciate good craftmanship, to acquire new skills and ultimately to engage with food in a new way through the tools you craft.
YOU MUST BE 18+ to attend the class.
Classes are announced through the members' newsletter, you can sign up through the form at the bottom of the page.
